In this week's preview, we look at some of the stories we'll be covering in the Journal of Commerce for the week of April 20th, 2015.

A case pitting Vancouver's Canada Line against local businesses is coming to a close. Judgment has been reserved on the case, where a group of downtown businesses allege construction of the rapid transit line was financially detrimental to them.

Staff writer Russell Hixson has a story about a planned $55 million dollar upgrade to the Kelowna International Airport, and he has another story about a case to be heard by the British Columbia Supreme Court which alleges the province of British Columbia did not follow the proper approval process before greenlighting the Site C Hydroelectric Project.

WorkSafeBC's Don Schouten has a column about the dangers of occupational diseases, and Daily Commercial News staff writer Lindsey Cole has a story about The Construction Institute of Canada's simulated student bid competition.

This week's feature video covers the recent Association of Consulting Engineers of Canada – BC chapter awards of excellence.
