In this week's preview, we look at some of the stories we'll be covering in the Journal of Commerce for the week of April 6th, 2015.

The B.C. Building Trades are not happy with BC Hydro or the British Columbia government. Building Trades executive director Tom Sigurdson is not pleased with B.C. premier Christy Clark's support of an open shop model for the Site C hydroelectric project.

Staff writer Russell Hixson has a story about the City of Burnaby giving preliminary approval for development of a new 26-acre neighbourhood, and correspondent Carol Christian has a story about flood control work going ahead in Fort McMurray despite unseasonably warm weather.

B.C. Ready Mixed Concrete Association president Charles Kelly has a column about sustainable concrete, and correspondent Peter Kenter has a story about a planned but never built dome in Iqaluit.

This week's feature video is an interview with succession planning expert Michael Mangum of FMI Corporation.
