A Vancouver man in his 50s died on June 17th from head injuries while working on a ladder in Delta, B.C.
A Vancouver man in his 50s died on June 24th from head injuries while working on a ladder in Delta, B.C.
According to Delta Police Sgt. Sarah Swallow, workers called 911 at 2:25 on June 24th after they found the man at the bottom of a ladder in medical distress from head injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Swallow said there doesn’t appear to be anything criminal involved so the case has been turned over to WorkSafeBC for further investigation.
Swallow said officers could find no one who witnessed the death so it is unknown exactly how the injuries occurred or if the man was wearing safety equipment.
Swallow did say it appears that the man likely fell 12 feet while working up on a ladder.
