The $46.5 million Barnston Maple Ridge Pump Station, on the border of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, B.C., is beginning to take form. Metro Vancouver is the owner.
The general contractor for the project is Maple Reinders Inc., the site work contractor is Pedre Contractors Ltd. and the mechanical specialty contractor is Xylem Inc.
The electrical contractor is Houle Electric Ltd. and Associated Engineering Ltd. is the consulting civil engineers, while Golder Associates Inc. are handling environmental and geotechnical engineering.
Construction of the project began in December 2012.
