Lord of the Olympic Rings

MEGA CRANES LTD.

Massive Olympic rings are erected in Vancouver near the international airport. The total structure is almost 14 metres tall, 30 metres wide and about 4,136 kilograms. It has 20,385 individual LED light. The project used B.C. firms including Cobra Electric (South Coast) Ltd. (electrical installation and project management), Mega Cranes Ltd. (structural lifting and transport), Geo Tech Engineering (geo-technical engineering), PBA Engineering Ltd. (LED design, fabrication and electrical design), The Mainroad Group (civil construction and structural installation), McElhanney Engineering (site survey), Lakeside Fasteners (structural bolts and guy cable supply), WESCO (Guy cable assembly) and Valid Manufacturing Ltd. (foundation, structural design, and aluminum truss design and fabrication). It’s on the main road to and from the airport.
