PHOTO GALLERY: Steel Day 2012
SOLID ROCK STEEL FABRICATING CO. LTD
Steel Day is an industry-wide event held this year on September 28th to raise awareness about the steel industry and the local steel companies operating in communities across Canada.
Solid Rock Steel, located in Surrey British Columbia, was one of the many companies in the Lower Mainland hosting guests for Steel Day. Highlights of their tour included production of local steel, art work bound for Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and two custom trusses for Whistler, B.C. which were almost 12 feet high, 77 feet long, and weighted almost 10,000 pounds.
If you have photos from a Steel Day event you'd like to see in a future photo gallery, you can submit them to the Journal of Commerce at editor@journalofcommerce.com.
