Girders stolen from Richmond, B.C. construction site

RICHMOND RCMP

Girders similar to the kind stolen from the gated compound in Richmond, B.C.

Approximately $200,000 in construction material has been stolen from a gated compound at Van Horne Way and Great Canadian Way in Richmond, British Columbia.

The Richmond RCMP has determined the material was stolen between July 1, 2012 and September 4th, 2012. According to an RCMP news release, a witness observed three Caucasian men allegedly take the items on three separate occasions. They may have been associated to a green GMC or Chevrolet pick up truck and a white Ford "flat deck" truck.

The stolen material are launching girders, and each stolen piece is yellow or blue and marked with the following designations: one item is marked B401, three items are marked L49 C4101-2101, two items are marked L49 C2001, 14 items are marked D2001, 10 items are marked D701, one item is marked G, and two items are marked E1201.
